there are a ton of talented creatives in the outdoor industry, but here’s what makes me different
I strongly believe in approaching all creative work with a well developed and thought out strategy. My process for every project starts with understanding your brand, your audience, your ideal customer, and what makes them really tick. I use this knowledge to strategically make all creative decisions, and create work that resonates with exactly the market you are trying to reach.
The best creative projects come from people who understand both your brand and audience. Being an active – if not borderline obsessed – participant in all aspects of the outdoor industry, I have a deep understanding of your ideal customer. In fact, I like to think I'm part of your target audience myself, which gives me a unique vantage point for creating work that speaks directly to your customer.
To me, creating art and spending time in nature go hand-in-hand, so when I'm not working on my next big project, you can almost always find me outside. I draw inspiration from hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, and skiing (to name a few), and believe staying active is essential for creativity.

my background
I have been working in the creative side of the outdoor industry since 2014, and got my start through writing assignments and gear reviews centered around my thru-hike attempt of the Appalachian Trail. Through these opportunities, I was later able to stretch my other creative muscles – photography and design – in the industry as well.
I have a background in design, and earned a BFA in Graphic & Interactive Design from West Chester University. Before stepping into full time freelance work, I gained invaluable experience working as part of marketing and design teams in the corporate world, and I apply this knowledge to every project I take on to intimately understand my client's needs and internal processes, and become a seamless extension of their team.

→ I have hiked over 1,000 miles of the Appalachian Trail.
→ Born and raised in the beautiful Philadelphia area (Delco to be exact), before moving to Colorado, and finally making my way to Montana.
→ My favorite national park is Arches in Utah.
→ My favorite camp meal is (gluten-free) Ramen Noodles. Try to change my mind.
